From our dear neighbors to the north, for the most part, I am presenting to you a collection of post-election 2024 where Donald Trump has somehow, once again, ascended to "the throne" of President of the United States. The reaction from Canada and a collection of their brilliant political cartoonists is most telling. Represented here is the work of: Serge Chapleau ("La Presse"); Yannick Lemay whose pen-name is Ygrek ("Le Journal de Montréal"); André Philippe Coté ("Le Soleil"); Éric Godin ("Le Devoir"); Guy Badeaux whose pen-name is Bado ("Le Droit"); Marcel Boudreau ("L'Acadie Nouvelle") and even one from Damien Glez. They have all become favorites of mine.
After our election day here in the USA, the political cartoons have been rolling in to me and I had to add well below cartoons from: México (Darío); Switzerland (Bénédicte); Italy (Valentina Stecchi); France (Micaël); Philippines (Ángelo López) and last, but not least, from the good ole USA (Clay Jones). Very much hoping that many of you will enjoy them during these most difficult days and the four years to come! |
